This Course has a multifaceted direction, in which the student is  introduced to the concepts of health promotion, maintenance and health restoration of different age – group.  Attention will be given to the implementation of the nursing process in the care for healthy children and their families as well as children with different health problem
 
2002-2008
  
This course is designed to introduce the student with the main concepts and principles that are related to the growth and development of child and adolescent within the family context. Furthermore, it focuses on the developmental age periods and the role of the nurse in providing care for child, adolescent and their families. Therefore, this course will give general information about the characteristics of adult and elderly. After all, it concentrates on the main issues that help the student to develop a comprehensive and holistic nursing care for child, adolescent, adult, and elderly within the family context. The framework of the course will be based on the concepts of health promotion.
2006-2008
  
The course focuses on gaining knowledge and skills to perform a comprehensive physical examination of an adult health client. The main emphasis will be on the normal findings to prepare the students to identify any deviation from normal and  will enable them how to document and report the assessment findings. Students will practice taking health histories and performing physical examination in a laboratory setting.
